Let the Blogging Begin

And so it begins ladies and gentlemen, I am officially a blogger!:)  Never thought I'd see the day, but I'm in a "go for it" kind of mind set in my life right now and I've had quite a few folks in my circle that have encouraged me to let my voice be heard.  My main focus for blogging is motivational speaking simply because it's a huge part of my life.  I can honestly say that I haven't experienced quite as much of life's overwhelming disappointments, but I've certainly had my fair share and only God has been able to sustain me through it all.  If you are the least bit interested in keeping a positive mindset, grasping on to hope, looking for that silver lining, or just knowing that things will be okay, this is the blog for you.  I only know of ONE WAY to keep moving forward and that's through Jesus!  May sound like a cliché for some, but it's been the reality for my life.

Just as a side note, in case you're wondering, my blog name came as a result of sign I saw in a small town in Europe.  It has nothing to do with being motivational, but it describes me and my interests pretty well.  No I'm not Latina, but I do enjoy the culture as much as my own.  I've had the fortunate experience of growing up overseas for a large portion of my childhood which exposed me to many different cultures at an early age.  I loved every minute of that experience and it has been one of the driving forces of my adulthood.  What can I say, I'm a people person?!

With all of that being said, let the positivity begin!  I live my life one day at a time, taking the time to thank the good Lord above for not only allowing me the chance to see another day, but to LIVE IT!  Yes, you can be alive, but are you living?  We all have our good days and bad days, but does the "badness" overwhelm us so much that we can't truly enjoy the life that God has granted to us?  Hopefully the answer is no, but if you find yourself in a place in your life where there just doesn't seem to be a sign of hope, fear not!  Believe me when I say, I've been to some dark, hopeless places and looking back, I can honestly say that the power of God and his love is what carried me through.

Well that will conclude my first blog ever!  Pretty excited to share more and keep the positivity flowing.  Never forget that even in the midst of our storms, they too shall pass and a much brighter life is ahead... Que Dios los bendiga!
